Some have wanted this recipe so here it is this version makes about 7 quarts if you want less cut the ingredients in half...

1. Start with a large stock pot to accommodate aprrox. 2 gallons of liquid.

2. Add 1/2 gallon of apple juice and 1 gallon of apple cider to the pot over medium heat.

3. As mixture begins to warm add 1 cup white sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar and 6 cinnamon sticks.

4. Bring pot to a boil stirring the mixture to ensure that the sugars are fully dissolved.

5. Cool mixture to room tempature then add 750 ml of moonshine or everclear, mix contents pour into jars and seal.

Just cooked up a batch, with some shine out of Gatlinburg Tennessee.... The original recipe will make closer to 7 quarts, I like to cut everything in half except the liquor volume to make 3 1/2 quarts......
