Ramen noodle recipe

Thai Beef and Noodle Toss

1 lb. beef round trip steaks, cut 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick
1 small fresh jalapeno, seeds out and minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 TBSP sesame oil or vegi oil
1 package (3oz.) beef flavored instant ramen noodles
1 cup diagonally sliced carrots
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup A.1. Thick and Hearty Steak Sauce
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup Dry Roasted Peanuts
2 TBSP chopped cilantro

Cut beef steaks, can use stir fry meat from the store, into strips, then cut in half. Toss beef, jalapeno and garlic with 1 TBSP oil. Break noodles into 3 to 4 pieces, reserve seasoning packet. Cook noodles according to package directions, drain and rinse. Heat large skillet over medium high heat, cook and stir beef, remove beef and keep warm. Cook and stir carrot and green onions in remaining oil in same skillet until tender. Add cooked noodles, steak sauce, water, peanuts and cilantro, sprinkle with reserved seasoning packet. Heat mixture until hot, stirring occasionally. Return beef to skillet, mix and serve!

this sounds GOOD.....Do you have the recipe for the salad made with shredded cabage vinegar and ramen noodles??? love that stuff

1 head Napa Chinese cabbage, shredded
5 green onions, chopped (tops included)
1/2 c. butter
1 (2 1/2 oz.) pkg. Ramen noodles, broken
1/2 c. sesame seeds
1/2 c. almonds

DRESSING:

3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. salad oil or olive oil
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. red wine vinegar

Shred cabbage and combine with onions. Set aside. Brown noodles, sesame seeds and almonds in butter and drain on paper towel. Mix dressing and chill. Assemble approximately 20 minutes before serving.

I stand corrected, I do like the vinegar stuff!!!!

hhmmm....not sure Chick......I didn't think you browned or heated anything....But I could be wrong..She (the lady that had this dish) said you just throw it all together and stir it up and let it sit.....Oh well.....that one sounds good too!!!!
