4 Rivers question

If you were going to 4 Rivers tomorrow, how many dekes would you put out? I just wondered if a big or small spread was working better now.
Two of us are headed up in the morning.

We hunted schell a couple days ago with 12 decoys and killed a few birds. If they do not have new birds in, I would scale down my spread to less than 3 doz and about 15 spinning wing decoys:biggrin: Seriously, the best we have done there is finding the newly flooded shallow part of the pool you are in and put out 2 or three doz dekes and be mobile if they are hitting some other part of the pool. Good luck let me know how ya'll do.

Well, 43 dekes was not the magic number. We hunted somewhere in unit 4. We got lost in the snow going in. You couldn't see more than about 40yds with the spotlight and we felt like we were just going in circles. We finally just put our backs to the wind against some brush and set up.
Cary killed a nice drake greenwing, and Sam the yella dog made a great retreive. I conserved ammunition.
Everything I took with me is wet.
