Went to Otter Slough with Mrs Hunter91 as she had a reservation. She put up with me the whole day. She bagged her first two ducks, a green winged teal drake and a ringneck drake. I was impressed by her shooting. I also bagged a gwt drake and ringneck hen. Had several opportunities that we did not connect with. Tons of ducks over there but that is just a long drive even for some excellent duck hunting.

OS is a long drive but it's worth it if you can get in. It's just flat out nice duck country down there.

I'm not seeing much over here on the west side yet. Some resident geese and lots of coots, but not many puddlers yet. It's a little early for us.

Starting to see a few mallards on our ponds we watch around the lake and in the south zone. Usually can gage if many duck are in or not by checking these ponds. It usually don't get good until it is awful cold.
