Dove season is fast approaching. Anyone planning to go slay a mess? I have been seeing a ton of them everywhere I go.

Put a piece of japaleno between the dove and the bacon.
I doubt if I go on a dove hunt. I'll be at TR........not catching walleye.

We didn't do to good this morning. Our group killed eight. We still had a lot of fun giving each other a hard time about missed shots.

The "wildwood flower" fields, which are just about everywhere the RR goes up here, are full of doves if they're near enough to water. Be your way soon, no doubt. Our early teal sesaon opens Sep 20 for 5 days. Have to try the jalapeno and bacon recipe on some of those little fellas.

Did the jalapeno with bacon. Fat boys dream> Fried tators and okra rolled in cornmeal with dove and wallye. Home made strawberry ice cream for desert.
LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

Dove are so thick this year. Can't believe it.
