Never thought it would happen to me but I had a hunting accident last night. I was climbing down my deer stand and my boot slipped on the ladder and down i went. End result 1 broken foot. No deer unfortunately.

I have several different hunting boots. On this day I was wearing my muck boots. If anything I think that my boots saved my foot from being worse then it is. The boots have great traction, i just think with the rain on the steps and there coulld of been a leaf or something on the bottom of my boot.

Believe me he knows that it could have been worse. My best friends son broke his back in May & most likely in a wheelchair from now on. On a bike.

I somehow would sneak out there if he still said no. I am ordering a one of those insulated boot coversa to put over my foot so at least my toes will stay someway warm
