Just wondering if any guys use them? Ive been wanting to buy some to use to attract deer and try to get a good herd of deer at the hunting spot. Just looking for some input.

Also anyone no of any good places to buy when they go on sale after season?

I have one of those tri pod feeders you get @ Walmart but I don't use it anymore I just spread the corn on the ground. A 40lb sack of corn you get @ Walmart last about 3 days once they find it. I would spend the money you would for a feeder on more crankbaits or some other hunting equipment. But that's me.

Go Hogs!!!

I would just like to get a feeder that has an automatic timer that spreads it every so many hours. I hunt at Jims place which is about an hour to an hour and a half, so i could probably only go on the weekends to fill it.

I have found a corn that a local feed store had ordered in that seems to be pretty good stuff to try. Its a corn kernal/ percimion mixture. It looks pretty good i want to give it a try.

I have a "Bull Dog" brand corn feeder in my back yard. I'ts been working since about 1996. If you buy a feeder I would advise you to get a all metal one like the Bull Dog. Squirrels will eat a plastic one to pieces. I have mine set to feed 1 time a day about day light. The squirrels will climb up the legs and keep corn on the ground pretty much all day. My feeder holds 150lbs of corn which lasts about 3 weeks.

That is a good idea about the metal one, i never thought that about the plastic and the squirrels, but i no that they have chewed up several gas cans around the lake house and a lawn mower!
