Very nice! That will be a handful for her.

Guess you won't be "stepping out of line".

unless she is highly unusual she will NOT be able to handle the .45. Even the military changed to 9mm because the women could not handle the .45. That's not to say no woman can handle it, it is just that most cannot. But it is a good looking weapon. congradulations

I agree.

I assume you bought it "for her" and you will be shooting it

I think a .38 special or 9mm is a better choice for the wife.

Yeah, she is not going to shoot it. I am debating what mods to do to it. I have Springfield Armory's brochure. I am definately getting a trigger job, checkering on the front and back of the handle, new sights, and I am thinking a black coating with stainless accents.

This is a 9mm, but this is what I am going for. I love the black and thd wood grip and just a little bit of stainless. I'll post a picture when I get it back from Springfield.

Heard a rumor that Rich's wife bought him some new carpeting. Probably for his shooting range. Fine looking weapon.

That does look nice!
I added a Glock 30 in .45 not long ago. It has one of those little red lights that tell you where the bullet is going. It really helped my shooting!
Good luck with the 1911 project.

The "little red lights" are very nice.

I have three Crimson Trace grips on a .45, .22, and .38 special

Yep, this one is a CT. Pretty neat.
Hey Rich, Mother's Day is coming. May I suggest a nice Don Hume Yaqui Slide holster?

Ohhhh...I like your thinking, Bullitt. May I suggest some more ammo for Glock. You never have enough!

Nice revolver,
XTC.

Is that a shooter or a safe queen?

I think if you shoot it you should have to wear the badge and pledge allegiance to Gene Autry!

Probably a "safe queen". It was built in 72, the year I graduated from High School.

I've started the process of cataloging my guns. Heck, I need to by more!
