The ESPN Coach's Poll is out and the preseason national #1 is Georgia, from the SEC East. Number 5 is Florida, also from the SEC East. #6 is LSU from the SEC West. That's almost a third of the top ten. Eventually something will have to give when the Gators and Dawgs meet, but for now the SEC is once again ruling the roost. I looked at all the voting, and the computer must have dropped the voting for the Razorbacks. Not even one vote to put them in the top 25. Must be some kind of math error......Ole Miss was in there somewhere, but they go to Baton Rouge this year, and their new coach will get the full dose of what it means to play in Death Valley wearing red and blue. Bama should have a modestly successful year if Saban can round up enough bail money to get eleven players out of jail and onto the field. There are reports that Bama has a new Honor System...."Yes, your Honor, No, your Honor." Just having a huddle between plays will be difficult because players out on bail are prohibited from having contact with other felons........

Interesting note on the new Top 10......for the first time ever, five teams of the SEC are ranked in the AP Top Ten. It's gonna be a dogfight all season in both the East and West. LSU's best linebacker is out this coming weekend for the Auburn game, but his
backup has quite a bit of experience. Hopefully it will be enough. Auburn is tough, and over the past five games, the winner has been the home team. The game is in Alabama.
