We have ran some planer boards and we have ran the down rigger a few times and honestly we have never gone deeper than 25ft, but it would seem that some bigger fish might hold a little deeper (river channel) and thinking this is untapped for the most part. Regardless we will probably try it out to see how it works but wanted to see if I can spur some discussion and get some tips.

There is a little restaurant up in the near Fallsville, AR that is celebrating their one year anniversary this weekend. Just so happens my cousin's bluegrass band is playing with one other. The music is from 10 till 2, and there is all kinds of food as well. Lynne and I will be at Casey's at 14 and 65 at 8:30 with KSU at 8:45, with plans to be back in Springfield by 4:30. This is only about a 200 mile round trip, but we are allowing for a about 3 hours of just hanging around listening to some good music. This is a great ride up 43 and 21 out of Harrison.
Anyone that wants to join us is welcome. Just bring a chair or a blanket to sit on.

Not as many bikes as I'm use too from going to Hooter's every week. I'd say there were between 1 and 2 dozen that showed up while we were there.
The pic is just as I got there and was waiting on Foggy to show up.
They had cooked some pretty good NY strip steaks and baked potatoes on a gill behind the place. (The dinner was a little more than I had previously mentioned). It's always been very clean in there and it looks like they take pride in their business.
The owner's of the bar (which I met last weekend) are real good people and very friendly.
Their motto is "Come in a stranger, leave a friend" and its fitting.
Something I didn't care for was, No one hangs around outside around the bikes, they were all pretty much inside the whole time drinking.:beers::drunk:
I'd go back for the steak dinner if others wanted to try it but, not on a regular basis.
Just my opinions though.

Now, do I get paid like the big city restaurant critics get paid?:thumbup::rofl:
